GameJanitor Network Scanner

This IP address is operated by GameJanitor, a game server index and browser.

What we do

We periodically scan the public internet to discover game servers (e.g. Minecraft on TCP port 25565). We send a single protocol-specific handshake packet to well-known game server ports to check if a game server is running. This is the same technique used by other game server indexes like battlemetrics.com and gametracker.com.

What we don't do

• We do not attempt to exploit or gain unauthorized access to any system
• We do not scan authentication services, databases, or administrative ports
• We do not store any data beyond what a game server publicly advertises (server name, player count, map)
